A little SEO experiment - 1

Let's take note of the history of this little SEO experiment.
I'll note here only the results, omitting keyword, site specification, and so on...

The target site is a PR-2, and is not very well positioned about his strategig keywords.
I insert a new page, regularly SEO-optimized for one new keyword (a new service/product; similar to others yet sold on the site, but new and different)
META TAGS are ok.

I regularly check SERP positioning of the site for the new keywords with SEO SERP

This is the history:

SERP position date X
24 2013-10-29 X
34 2013-10-27 X
33 2013-10-26 X
33 2013-10-25 X
32 2013-10-23 X
33 2013-10-20 X

I insert the new page; try to get some precious back-link, but it's not easy. I get only a couple of back-link from generic sites

2013-10-20
I go on, trying to get some back-link: it's very hard, because all well-positioned sites don't accepts new comments linking outside, or have useless no-follow link

2013-10-27
I finally get a back-link from a comment of mine in a PR-3 blog whichhas not a very good SERP position for my keyword (26)

2013-10-28
First success: from 34th position in SERP to 24th position, surpassing the site which two days ago gived the backlink! Wow!
Now, let's look for some others backlink...

What about do-follow blogs?

Building good backlink to your site is the most important SEO trick.
And the easiest way of getting backlink is through comments, posted by you in various blogs around.
If your comment is interesting, intelligent, precioious to the reader, it will not be considered spam.

But...
Blog comments mostly are nofollowed (that's to say: search engines aren’t supposed to give any weight to the link, even if someone believe Yahoo and Bing will do).

Once there was a resource for dofollow blogs: dofollowblogs.com
But today it does'nt exist any more: dofollowblog.com is only a parked page, with the note "This domain may be for sale" (1)

Luckily there're other resources about it:

Anyone knows of any other online resource above "dofollow blogs"? Put it in your comment!

(1) by the way: I don't want to give a backlink for free to a parked domain: so the link above is nofollow...
